Between the meanders of the Loire, Vouvray reveals its tuffeau soil, like a gentle promenade along the water. It is in this unique terroir that the Chenin grape variety finds its purest expression, offering a cuvée of remarkable minerality and freshness.

Grape varieties: 100% Chenin Harvest: Hand-picked ; mostly from a parcel on ‘Perruches’ soil (clay and flint), facing north, harvested late, and part on the ‘Folière’ plateau, earlier, harvested in mid-September, 10 days earlier. Vinification : Direct soft pressing, cold settling. 50% vinified in demi-muids in the domain's Tuffeau cellar and 50% in temperature-controlled vats. Low-temperature natural fermentation (indigenous yeasts) for 1 month, and racking. Aging: 12 months (50% in barrels: one new barrel with very light toasting and one half-muid of one wine with bâtonnage. 50% in an ovoid container).
A pale yellow color
Fresh, expressive and complex, this wine offers fine notes of white peach, lemon zest and white flowers.
A frank attack revealing notes of white fruit, completed by citrus and a minerality which is characteristic of these soils. The mid-palate is full, generous and well-balanced. The finish is long and aromatic, with notes of citrus fruit and flint.
Serve at 11 - 13°C
Can be aged for 3 to 8 years.
Oysters, white fish ceviche, Bresse poultry with truffles, mature goat's cheese or Comté.
